Hip Hop is a street style dance that allows the ease of dancers to "feel" the music. Hip Hop is also characterized by fun, high energetic movements, and stunning stage presence.
Clogging is an upbeat, and energy filled dance that steers the technical rhythm with special clogging shoes; creating incredible musicality and stage presence. Clogging is also technical in matching sounds as one unit; establishing the power of many individual sounds unifying as one.
Ribbon Ballet is a ballet-like dance style that incorporates the use of a ribbon wand prop.
Lyrical has a basis of ballet foundation and fuses some jazz accents to create a modern style of dance that utilizes great story telling. The choreography for lyrical is generated more from the lyrics of a song, rather than the normal "instrumental or melody" component of music.
Pointe is an advanced level of ballet that essentially is "ballet" performed on the "pointe" of the toes.
